Cancer Screening
Early detection and prevention is the principle underpinning cancer screening in Australia. Through your GP you can access government programs for
Cervical Screening (women aged 25 -74yrs). Most patients no longer need pap smears and are now eligible for self-collected cervical screening tests.
Bowel Cancer Screening (men and women 50-74yrs)
Breast Cancer Screening (50-74yrs)
Depending on your personal risk and family history other cancer screening programs may be indicated.
We also take the time to explore risk reduction strategies to decrease your chances of getting these cancers.
